No such thing as a road legal dirt bike anyplace in the US. If you have your heart set on a bike that can be used both on and off road you need to sell this bike and buy a dual sport bike.

This is because there are EPA emissions requirements for all street bikes sold in the US. Just because you do not see a catalytic converter does not mean that are no emissions systems.

Dirt bikes and ATVs are exempt from these missions requirements. However, it is this emissions exemptions that forbids their use on the street. It depends on what county you are in. They have opened the sides of the road to ORVs in some countys. You must have a headlight and taillight or something similar to be legal.
