How much is acceptable to tip the porters at Victoria Coach station?

Family will be travelling and we might need just a bit of help to get to Departures from Arrivals...I saw there were porters on the website and it says they are self-employed and payment is expected so I wanted to know if they set their own fee or is there just a general acknowledged payment per bag etc

    There are porters at Victoria??! That's a new one on me!

    I'm amazed... absolutely.

    I haven't seen a porter at any station in the UK for years and years. And especially NOT at any coach station.

    Good luck with that.

    If there are any and they are self-employed, then they will tell you how much they charge before they do anything. After all, it's their business. If they are there, that is...

    The UK is a mystery when it comes to tipping. I would say a pound per (big) bag is acceptable.
