Are there any advantage of being part of the IMDb?

~ The advantages are more for members who love films. You can learn a lot there. For a performer/actor/director the advantages would be exposure to film fans

The IMDb stands for the Internet Movie DataBase. There was probally a TV show that you were in that it caught on, seeing as IMDb also has TV shows. The only thing is that people can see your face and look you up to see who that talented performer was. There is no breach of privacy, and no one can access anything of your personal life, except your name.
