finding a window A/C that evaporates water?

Question

I purchased an A/C that has no drain on the outside for condensed water because it has a ring that slings the water against the hot coils, where it evaporates.

My other A/C drips water onto the lower roof underneath, causing mold problems.  Is there a name for this feature that I can look for when I replace the second A/C with one that evaporates the water instead of draining it?  (Putting a drain hose would not look good in this location.)

The window opening is 12.5", which is a further limitation, but if I could name this feature, I could find one that fits.  I hope.

Install the drain tube in and prevent mold and structural damage until you can replace the AC unit with the type you 

The only driples or claimed to be dripless units seem to be portable air conditioners.

If the portable air conditioner only has one discharge vent and no intake vent, then it is not very efficient.

If the portable airconditioner has not vent or intake; then it is just a personal cooling device or an expensive dehumidifier. These unit actually increase the heat of a room.

First thing is that your a/c is condensing water. You should NOT install a wick to evaporate the water back into the conditioned air. That would be a big waste. 
If there is a unit out there that splashes water onto the condenser for evaporation and efficiency, the coil would rot out very quickly. The life of that unit would drop to 50%. 
I suggest you find another solution to your condensate issue. You could even drain the unit back into your space but into a bucket that you can dump into the sink when it fills up. 
Another option is to install a ductless split on a different wall. Its a lot more money but they are quiet and can add value to your home.

ACs normally freeze using fact of undesirable air bypass or they are low on refrigerant. undesirable air bypass is normally brought about by a grimy air clear out or grimy coils. If the total floor of the evaporator coil is frozen in all probability grimy. If in basic terms area of the coil is frozen, the AC is low on refrigerant using fact of a leak. Freon is a kind call of refrigerant and all ACs bypass refrigerant to kick back the air. as long as water isn't dripping interior there in all probability isn't a undertaking with the drain device.

see if you can put a wick from the drain point and lead it into the air flow where the airflow dries it. Old boot laces are good and can be tied out of the way. Works OK for small amounts of water. In the UK we dont put them on much its not warm enough!

Lowes/Home Depot can sell you a roll of zinc strip.  Cut a piece off and tack it to the roof under where the AC unit drips.  The zinc that gets washed away keeps moss from growing.  In fact, it maight be called Moss-B-Gone....
