What was the last thing you cooked?

I made a salmon burger last night! :) I'm actually really proud of myself cus I found a way to make food that I can eat interesting. I also made my boyfriend French toast for breakfast yesterday and that turned out pretty good apparently.

The salmon burgers that we have at my house that are pre-made have 9gms of fat in them and I just can't do that with my stomach issues (which I won't go into) so I decided "hey I'll make my own!"

First one didn't stay together so my mom told me to put a tiny bit of rice in it and it worked! I took a thing of canned salmon which was surprisingly amazing, with some light mayo to hold it together, plus the slight amount of olive oil in it would prevent the salmon from sticking to the pan, plus a tiny bit of rice and it was amazing!

I think I'm gonna fix it for lunch or dinner :) So what was the last thing you cooked?

BQ: What's your favorite home-cooked meal that you or your parents make?

BQ2: Do you think food tastes better when you make it or when your parents do?

BQ3: How often do you eat at restaurants?

Mmmmm, Salmon burgers are really good! What I used to do is form them into little round balls and dip them in egg, then flour w/ seasoning and fry them. I went vegan though and eat at least 80% raw, so I haven't cooked anything in a long time. Last thing I cooked was Quinoa, I think.

BQ: I and everyone else I know loves my moms potato salad. The only potato salad I've ever liked. Such a simple recipe too.

BQ2: It depends on what it is. For the most part my parents.

BQ3: Not very often. Only when my friends or family invite me out.

  • I made a chocolate raspberry pudding for dessert. Though the answer would be Mexican beef and rice is throwing something in the microwave counts as cooking (to me it doesn't).

BQ: I love this thing called Mexican Lasagne you basically make a meat sauce out of mince, onion, hot taco sauce, 3 bean mix and I think that's it, layer it with Mexican tortillas with cheese in the layers then layer the top with cheese and sliced tomato and bake it. It tastes so good but I can't have it too often because my brother can't stand anything chilly (even if a curry has 1/2 a teaspoon of curry powder and serves like 6 people he'll still be chugging water it's pretty ridiculous). For dessert I love this chocolate raspberry slice because I love chocolate and I love raspberry so it's a win-win. It's also moist which for some reason I like in a cake.

BQ2: Depends on the dish. I'm an okay cook but there are somethings my grandmother does which is just awesome. I haven't tried some of the recipes so maybe I could make them just as well... who knows?

BQ3: Not often it's not like it's really affordable. Eating out isn't cheap in Australia. I do regularly have Subway when I have to get lunch at university or sometimes I get Boost Juice but those aren't really restaurants they're more fast food.

Wait, that sound so amazing! Salmon is my favorite fish and my Mom cooks it like twice a week since it's healthy and the oil in it is good for your heart (gives you Omega 3).

I'm 15, and I'm trying to make new recipes and last night I made macaroni cheese bake with steamed vegetables and garlic bread. The macaroni cheese I usually make once in a while has cheese on it which is what makes it taste great as well as bread crumbs, but this time I didn't put cheese to see what the difference was and yeah ... didn't turn out too great at all.

BQ: My Mom's a great cook and one of my favorite dishes that she makes is Pilau (an east african dish which consists of spicy rice with chicken stew and boiled vegetables.

BQ2: When my parents do, definitely. My own cooking has made me fall sick on so many occassions.

BQ3: Hardly. Only when my family is all together and we just decide to go out and eat somewhere.

The last thing I cooked were some pancakes for my mom for Mother's Day. I haven't eaten salmon for a long time, it sounds really good.

BQ: I love my mom's Llapingachos. It's an Ecuadorian side dish. They're basically stuffed potato patties..they are so delicious. I think I'm going to make some for me today. *-*

BQ: I can cook but I think my mom's cooking tastes better sometimes.

BQ: Very rarely. Like once a year.

Oh yes, those are really good. You can either make em hot on the pan or you can just eat it all fresh and raw. I just call them fish sandwiches though. I do the same with canned samon and tuna. Did you know that corn, chopped green onion, and tomato go really well with it? they give it a fresher taste in general and it is healthier that way. :)

BQ: Pelmeni. I make it sometimes. It is a Russian dumpling filled with meat.

BQ: Well, my parents very rarely cook for me. I can't even remember the last time my mother did. And I actually do most of the cooking in my family for everyone, so I guess mine?

    BQ: Very rarely.

I microwaved my pubic hair for 2:30 and when I pulled it out it came in a urn, I opened said urn and in it were tiny Male strippers dancing really hard and grinding on each other. So I cooked for another 2:30 and then they were about a Midget and a half midget and starting breaking the urn. Then I stabbed them with my razor sharp Dildus and ate them here is the midget.
