I have my own beliefs, I am not particularly an atheist,

but I will never understand those that criticise atheists.

If one million people believe in a particular God, and

tell the rest of the world that their God is true, it only

makes it true for them.

All atheists are asking is that believers prove that their

God exists. It is impossible to do so, that is why it is

called a "faith". Millions of people the world over, have

a religious faith, based on a book, written by men who

had similar faith.

Just because believers feel that their faith gives some

moral high ground, does not mean that non believers

are immoral, evil, or any of the other epithets that are

thrown around.

Likewise how can an atheist produce "evidence" to show

that there is no God. He or she cannot produce evidence

of something that does not exist for them.

Until believers have the courage of their convictions and

can say, "This is what I believe, it is a concept, my faith."

Then the reverse is equally true.

Why do so many atheists demand evidence, and deny it once it's given

You're clearly struggling defining the concept of "evidence" and "burden of proof". These are the obvious flaws in your argument.

The evidence theists put forward is not the type of tangible evidence you would expect to see in a courtroom. What theists define as evidence are objects and living beings we already "know" exist.

Secondly, It is your job to provide proof for the existence of god because it is the Christians that make the claim "god exists". So while atheism can't prove that god doesn't exist (in the same way they can't prove unicorns don't exist), it certainly can refute every single argument for any religion.

All I ask is for some credible, verifiable evidence for your god thingy.

Is that really too much to ask?

If so, please concede that your god is a nice belief, not a genuine reality.

Or at the very least, stop claiming its real, you can always believe whatever you like.
