Why is it that so many people say that time is just a human made concept?
Presumably completely ignorant of the fact that GPS satellites are programmed on the premise that time is as real and relative a dimension as space, because if they weren't, they'd become inaccurate by several MILES per day?

Humans made up ALL units of measurement, except the mathematical constants. How is the MEASUREMENT of time being a human concept, relevant to people thinking time itself is a human concept? Or are you saying that some people can't tell the difference? That might make sense I guess.

Not as long as it coincides with the part of the brain that has to do with time perception. If the guy who programmed the satellites had the same perception of time as most others, then time would be kept just fine by the satellites. There is evidence of people with mental illness where there time perception is off and they honestly think that nothing occurs by their actions. Do a search, its interesting reading.

Things move forward, Time lets people communicate at what point in the moving of forward they want to meet or do things together.
@catholic , that experiment only proves that gravity effects atomic clocks , higher from the ground , more gravitational slowdown.
