I just read the Yahoo news on "Susan Griffiths’ appointment with death: Ailing Winnipeg woman commits assisted suicide in Switzerland" ....

I will do the same in future like her if the country where I live did not legally permit such act.

Assuming you were old and accomplished all important tasks in your life and nothing left behind to worry about. You could not stand the painful treatment for a no hope recovery.
 What is your opinion and your choice ?

Like abortion, assisted suicide isn't something I feel the government should have a say so about, aside from regulation. However, neither of them are for me. I understand that the fear is that the assistant is helping someone with a mental illness and its a very fine line on wheather its actually murder.

I do not condone or oppose suicide. With a composed mind everybody should have the right to take their own life. If a person chooses this but does not successfully complete the task that's a big problem with me. The mental and physical pain is even that much greater to the person. Not to mention the friends and relatives anguish is 10, no 100, times greater than if they were to watch the person die naturally or if the task was successful.

Pain is hard to cope with.  I would ask God to forgive me, and then I would kill myself.  God has to have mercy on the mentally ill.

i would kurt cobain myself while skydiving with no shoot. i know it sound like a hard one to accomplish. but that's what the shotgun is for.
