How can somebody have 105% best answers on Yahoo Answers?

It just means that some of the questions for which he has received Best Answers for, have been removed

So as a ratio it removes the question but still retains the Best Answer resulting in a "false" percentage.

In the past some cheats have asked a question with profile A and assigned the Best Answer to B. Then Profile B reports A to hide the evidence of point gaining (note I am not casting aspersions in this case) which has resulted in anything up to 1000% BA rates.

simply put questions do get pulled

and more than likely that is what has happened

they pull the question but do not subtract the best answer from a person
