Why won't my video play on Apple TV?
I have a video in MP4 format and I don't get why it won't play on 1st generation apple TV!
Here are the specs
-Size: 427 MB
-Format: 720x404
-Length: 47 Minutes
-Codecs: AAC, H.264
-Stereo Sound
In case you care it's an HD episode of Breaking Bad ;)
I can load it onto the apple tv but when i play, the apple tv freezes and i have to pull the plug everytime.
ANy help would be appreciated:)

it might not meet the spec. The two codecs you put there the first is for sound the second is MPEG4 the same as used for blue ray.

I did a little research regarding your question and apparently Apple TV cannot handle MP4 format but iTunes can. Watch it on iTunes instead.

Try running it through Handbrake (handbrake.fr) and selecting the Apple TV profile. It will produce an .m4v file which is compatible with Apple TV.

try converting it to a diffrent file format that is most likely to be supported by apple like .mov or something
