Mode Not Supported Channels on Free Broadcast Television?

Ever time I scan for broadcast channels on my HD TV it keeps picking up channels that have nothing on them. The channel indicates call letters like KIVO 20.5 but a message from the TV reads "Mode Not Supported." and the screen is black. I'm picking up more with each scan. There's like seven of them now. Are these going to be future channels? What's the deal?

    I'm not sure of my facts but I think that they might Be private channels belonging to the Kivo hotel group.
