NCIS-Fans: Does anybody know if Tony actually speaks Italian?

Tony DiNozzo is obviously very proud of his Italian roots, but I got the impression that he doesn't even speak the language. There is one episode in which he makes a reservation for an Italian restaurant (I don't know which one it was) and there he speaks a few Italian words, but even I know what "ciao" means.

I can't remember any other occasion when he spoke Italian. So, does anybody know if Tony can actually speak the language?

@ James K: That Tony doesn't speak anything but English isn't true. We saw that he is fluent in Spanish in several episodes and lately he seems to learn Hebrew, because there are a few scenes in which he speaks a few words in Hebrew to Ziva.

    Well we know he speaks a little bit of Italian but we don't know how far this goes (we never see him say more than a few words in Italian). There was an episode where he says things in italian for example Season 2, Episode 5 "Bone yard" where Gibbs asks if the suspects are mafia and McGee says "With names like Vic Gera and Guido Valentino, what else?". Tony is offended by this comment stating that his name is Tony *DiNozzo* Italiano and that doesn't make him Mafia. McGee says sorry and Tony says "Prego" before giving him a head slap. Tony also says Prego in Season 3, Episode 2 "Kill Ari Part II". This is only like one word in Italian so it's not much.

    I'm not sure if there are other episodes where Tony says something in Italian. There are 10 seasons (I have watched them all and now watching Season 10) and I really can't remember other times (if he does speak in Italian in other episodes). I know that he can speak fluently in spanish as we have seen in some episodes and he knows a bit of Hebrew. I'm not sure which episode you are talking about (I can't remember it).

    No one really knows if Tony can speak fluently in Italian because he hasn't been shown speaking a lot of Italian (only a few words). Even big fans of the show (like me) do not know how far it goes when it comes to him speaking in Italian.

    In Season 2, Episode 22 "SWAK" Kate says "Tony thinks speaking Italian turns women on." So maybe he speaks Italian but again we do not no if he can speak a lot of Italian.

    In 10 years I have never heard him speak Italian. In fact, though NCIS Agents are required to be fluent in at least one foreign language, Tony is the only one who has never given any indication of knowing anything but English.

    Even Abby is bi-lingual, counting Sign.

    if he has not so far maybe he doesn't/ He is the best character from NCIS caUSE he is so dum and funny.
