Is there a common drum that I can use to sound like a timpani?
I'm in a band and we're covering the song "Blackout" by Linkin Park. We have everything down from the intro to outro and the remix bridge for our DJ, but there's a timpani. I'm doing that percussion for the song (in addition to switching to a guitar for the bridge and outro), and I don't know where I can find a timpani. Is there any drum in a set that I could rig to make sound the least bit like a high-pitched timpani?

yes you can get it online many of the drums that you can use to sound like a timpani.
