What is the name for the red, rubbery material used on some tennis courts?

It imitates traditional red tennis courts, but is a hard, rubbery material.

In Germany I played in some indoor courts where they had a rough carpet base covered with granules of a red rubbery substance. It had to be swept after play just like a clay court. This substance definitely was not clay, but was either ground up rubber or something like polyurethane. The red outdoor courts were clay, which is like crushed brick.

Edit: If this material you are talking about is a solid surface, not like granules or grains, then it might be Plexipave. This surfact is common on hard courts.

Hey, It's not really rubbery but I guess it is red. It's clay,it's used in roland garros(French open)

that would be Red European CLAY
there is also red carpet as well.. but that is rare....
