Somewhat sober, but still aching for God...?

Question

If any of you happen to see my earlier post, after drinking a pint of 60 proof schnapps, I'm still kicking. But...

...A year ago, I was so in fire for God, it wasn't funny. Nothing could have extinguished the flame. Except alcohol. Except pornography. Except etc., etc.... 

I don't think God will ever take me back. Why would He? Hebrews 6:6, I sinned after having been enlightened. And I gave up battling my addictions. I was tired if telling God I was sorry every day. I just couldn't stop. I did stop for a while. Now, it's like He never knew me. 

I want to end my life. I want to die. Please help... Tell me, will God take me back?

You're not doomed, condemned, or lost. You just need some help. Let go of the guilt, it's just going to help tear you down. None of those things on their own make you a bad person. What really matters is if it's having a negative impact on your life. People may judge you, and you certainly are judging you. So is god really judging you? I just don't think god is the sort of thing that wouldn't *be there* because of what *we do*. I don't care what anyone says.

You know, I used to be incredibly religious, but I also have a very serious drinking problem. It made me feel... less. Unworthy. Like a horrible human being. My love, life happens. If there's a God, surely he understands this, and loves those who return to him more after having been led astray.

We all do that sort of stuff. Maybe its not drinking, but everyone has some kind of sin that they can't seem to shake. This is why we have Jesus, because we are too weak to do it all for ourselves. Taking your own life would not be the recommended move right now. Only while you are alive will you have the chance to return to God. That chance is always there as long as you are alive.

2. God's old testament is the law of Moses; NOT Genesis-Malachi. (Test; like T or F).
