Been looking at spring training box scores?

Visiting teams are supposed to bring at least two regulars. However that gets really relaxed in years where the WBC is being played. There aren't enough regulars to support WBC rosters and send some on the road when split squad games are also being played.

There is no rule which specific players a team has to play during spring training. However, it's best that veterans get at least 2 at bats. But some veterans don't play in every game. Beyond that, at the end of a game, a team may have only minor leaguers in the game for the expereince and evaluation.
