There's really no way to know why your "This or That" question was reported while others weren't. It's possible that yours was worded in a way that made it a clear violation while some of the others were worded in ways that made them actual questions instead of chat or point games. Can't really say for sure without seeing the questions.

In general, the This or That questions DO violate the guidelines, so it's best not to ask them or respond to them.

Yours got reported because it was seen and reported by enough people. Those others just have not been seen and reported by enough people yet. That section is full of chat and it takes time for all violations to be addressed. Basically those other posters are just lucky.

Yahoo questions are easily reported by any Yahoo citizens. They don't have to violate the rules in order to be reported, some rude, obscene Yahoo citizen just has to go along and report it for no reason. I know how you feel, my question was reported for no reason also. Be sure to reread the Yahoo Community Guidelines to check if perhaps you were using a "chat like" form of question or some other hidden violation. You can find the link to the guidelines below.
