Please help! I am doing deductive reasoning for Geometry! Please help!!!!!?
I have a couple of questions I have seemed to get wrong and I need help answering them! It's not for homework. It's a lesson that I got a couple of questions wrong on but it will be coming up for the test so I need help understanding. I got most of them right except for two that I need help on. Thank you!
1.State a true conclusion: 1. if it is June, then it is summer.
2. It is summer.
What is the conclusion? NOTE: I put it is June, but it was wrong.
2.State a true conclusion: 1. If you accept the hypothesis, you accept the conclusion.
2. You accept the conclusion.
What is the conclusion? NOTE: I put that you accept the hypothesis--but I got that wrong--so I changed the answer to the whole statement is true since you've accepted both--but I got that wrong, too.
Again, thank you!! I just need help understanding what I did wrong and what the right answers are. I think I am just missing something. Thanks again!!

On the first, there is no conclusion about a single statement since you have a true conditional that ends in true; it could go F→ T or T → T and still be true. About all you could do is the contrapositive of the true conditional, since those are logically equivalent.
If it is not summer, then it is not June.
And the second seems to be the same. If you don't accept the conclusion then you don't accept the hypotenuse.
Kind of a strange question.
