2008 pontiac torrent sensors?

I have a 2008 pontiac torrent and recently I have had an issue with its sensors. My battery is bad and I know that it needs replaced. I have to boost it regulary because of the cold weather (alternator is fine already tested) my question is would a dead or dying battery cause a glitch in the computer and make all the sensors come on? The other day everything came on ABS, Stab Trak, AWD, Airbag after driving around for a few hrs they all went away and everything was working normal. I just gave the vehicle a boost again and drove down the road and all those sensors came on again? Any insight would be good. Hopefully a new battery will solve the problem and its not a deeper issue.

    The answer is yes a bad battery can cause problems with the electronics in the powertrain management system computers and can damage them if the battery isn't replaced soon.

    Keep jump starting it like that and in about 1 more week you'll need a new computer too. Those surges from jump starting can destroy those sensitive electronics. You're playing with fire here--literally.
