It is awful. Now everybody knows how hurt and humiliated he is. If he were not a huge college sports celeb, only close family and friends would have heard about this. 
You put your heart out there when on line dating. I know from experience. All you want is for the person to be real and truthful. The best way to know is to meet in person or chat using a web cam  on Skype or Yahoo Messenger.

He's young. Probably a romantic also. It all got away from him, the lies that is. He's a victim of social media ha ha's. It's a gotcha thing that is disgusting. I feel bad for him. Hope he's OK.

Didn't he claim that he and his dad met this girl face to face at one time? The story has holes in it!
