Anyone want to recommend some French metal bands to me?

Of all the European countries, it seems to me that France has the least amount of metal bands.  I already listen to Gojira and Spherical Universe Experience.  

BQ:  Has someone ever Farquad your swamp?
BQ2: Will Twilight become an alicorn at the end of season three?  Sorry guys, I've become obsessed.

there are quite a few good french bands, but alot are the underground raw black metal like Mutiilation, Vlad Tepes, etc...

You have quite a few answers here.  I have one more to add to your list, they are called "Effigy."  Their debut album "Black Is Now The Sun" is pretty impressive.  They are actually one of my favorite bands I found last year.  Very Tool inspired.  I hope you like them. ;-)
