can anyone recommend a decent pop up blocker?

Mozilla firefox has its own pop up blocker built in like chrome and has a number of add ons available to install. It blocks the majority of the pop ups on my pc

İ personally use the google chrome web browser and i advise you to if you already don't. For gogle chrome there is a web store from which you can get an app called "Adblock". After installing it will block nearly all of them and never have to think of them again. İf you don't want to switcg browsers they have one similar ffor firefox. İf you use anything else then you should switch.

I personally use google chrome with the AdBlock app. Its very handy and thanks to that my webpages are loading faster than usual. a lot more smoother too.

So yeah I personally recommend Adblock in the google apps store

What browser are you currently using? Google chrome browser currently has a plugin for it called "AdBlocker" which is very good at blocking advertisements
