LG Optimus phone on Mac?

Question

I have an LG Optimus and I want to take the pictures off on to my Mac. I have tried everything but no results. The Mac doesnt even recognize the phone when pluged in via usb. I also tried all the settings on the phone but nothing. Is there a FREE program that allows you to transfer data?

you need drivers..... cell phones are suppose to install the drivers itself when its first connected to a computer... but Macs, due to its closed sourced system by Apple, have a hard time with "other companies" drivers..... so................. do it manually.......

Google search "drivers for LG Optimus <<insert model here, like Optimus V or Optimus S>>".... google will take you to the LG website where you cna download and install its drivers for PC and MAC... choose MAC.... download..... click on the icon.... install them.... reboot MAC for good measure.... hook up phone..... put phone in mass storage mode....... phone pops up like a jump drive does, an extra harddrive in your computer..... click on it...... go to DCIM folder (default folder on Android where pics are stored)..... copy/paste pics from folder to MAC..... bam... walla.... booom... enjoy
