Hi i want to know the name of a movie about a man wrongly accused of murder i think he comes to a new town or something (either in the 80's or 90's) and Sean penn may be in it. HELP ME PLEASE :) and thank you.

no i just looked at all of Sean penn's filmography and i don;t think he's in the movie

Sean Penn was in Mystic river, but that does not sound like the movie you described.
As far a man wrongly accused of murder, there are a few out there, such as The Shawshank Redemption, The Fugitive, The Dark Corner (great movie), The Green Mile, Dark Passage, North by Northwest, and The 39 Steps.
And not to leave out women wrongly accused of murder - you have Double Jeopardy, Gothika, etc.
