Japanese dubs compared to English dubs?

It could be either way. Since Japanese is the original language of the show, it's probably going to be a lot closer to how the creators wanted it to be, but that's not always the case. The way characters speak in anime is never how an actual Japanese person would speak. For example, high school girls in anime might say "atashi" when in reality only very young children would use that word, yet it's extremely common in anime. Dubs and subs are probably about the same on average, but it always depends on the show (some are better than others. Nerima Daikon Brothers, for instance, is so much better in English dub. But many shows tend to sound better in Japanese.).

The japanese are better often I like some English dubs too but Japanese dubs are much professional it depends what voice actors they take

I hate the japanese is better/english dub is better arguements. Both versions or have their pros but BOTH are also not without flaw. We cant compare apples (Japanese version) to oranges (English dub) simply because they are both fruit (same anime). This whole debate about which is better is immature and pointless.....

i in my opinion like the two. not a brilliant anime fan yet I bear in mind a while in the past I watched the ninety's lively action picture street Fighter in American English dub and then I watched in in unique eastern and the two have been particularly cool. individuals even substitute the history music for some reason. i think of American dubs placed their very own character and spin into the eastern anime movies, in line with risk simply by heavy cultural modifications and additionally simply by fact there are issues that in simple terms wander off in translation.

I like subs, b/c it feels more real. English dubs are just a no no. That goes for ALL anime.

i like the japanese better to be honest as well. but i also like some english voices as well. some are horrible but some english voice actors are great. like vic mignogna!

for me i like sub better, BUT there are some anime out there that have dubbes better then subs, like naruto, Full metal alchemist, bleach, darker then black, helsing... and many many more, but for lower budget naime that get bad dubb actors i cant help but like the Japanese more.
