To those who live in Florida?

Going down for the holidays, I'll be in Northern Florida. How's the weather, I'm having a hard time trusting the weather app on my phone, what should I pack?

So clueless, thanks!

Storms Thursday night, then over the weekend and into next week, the forecast suggests good weather with highs between 60-65, and the lows in the 40's.

I live in Clermont, FL which is about 30 minutes West of Disney (Orlando), its considered Central Florida. This week its been cold during the evenings in the 50's and in the 80's during the day. Try looking at the weather on www.cfnews13.com which is our local news station in Orlando and it will tell you the weather for the central part of the state. The weather fluctuates everyday, you can go to bed and its cold out but wake up and its warm. It could rain one day and not be raining the next. As a matter of fact it could be raining on one side of the street and not the other. Bring a jacket or sweater and maybe 2 pairs of long pants. It depends on what feels warm or cold to you. Have a great vacation. I will tell you the more North you go the colder it will be.

Northern Florida might mean any place from Pensacola to Jacksonville and all the way down to Ocala and Gainesville. The weather conditions around Pensacola and the beaches are often very dfifferent from Gainesville or Lake City. There are so many weather sites you can check with. Welike Wunderground - but there are so many more.

Chances are you'll need at least a light jacket or windbreaker. Depending on exactly where in northern FL you'll be, daytime temps will likely be anywhere between the lo 50s to mid 70s and night-time temps could stay up in the 50s-60s or dip close to (or even briefly below) freezing.
