How long should i stay home if i have Bronchitis?

The doctor said i have bronchitis, most likely acute. Ive had it for 5 days so far and i stayed home yesterday and today. Throughout the beginning i felt like it was just a bad cough till it got worse the days i decided to stay home. I felt fine in the house, resting and treating it with tea and soup and medications. The doctor prescribed me medication so i am taking that.

However today i felt fine. I have slight cough and it seems as if its dying down. My dad thinks i should rest it out tomorrow because bronchitis comes back even if you feel like its getting better and it usually comes back worse. Is this true? Should i stay home tomorrow?
