R&P: What are your favorite drum solos?
Feel free to post some awesome drum solos here. No genre requirements; anything you choose is fine, as long as you think it sounds good.
BQ: What are some bands that you've looked over and forgotten about, and then came back to them, and really loved?
BQ2: For the bronies of rock and pop, favorite episode?
BQ3: For everypony else, black metal or death metal?
I might be taking my bronyism a bit too far, but whatever.

Hmmm... I can't really think of one from the top of my head besides painkiller by judas priest.
BQ: grim reaper.
BQ2: I have a lot but my favorite would have to be a tie between hurricane fluttershy and hearth's warming eve
BQ3: black metal. I like black metal more because I love the atmosphere and the low production of it. I also have a soft spot for tremolo picking and black metal vocals are cooler than death growls IMO. And the lyrics. Black metal tends to have more occult themes in it than death metal. I'm into the occult, i'm not a satanist or anythin, but stuff like that interests me so much that I have purchased some books about it and a statue of baphomet off of the internet. =p

As Blood Runs Black - My Fears Have Become Phobias
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ppHDz9P1LM&feature... (it's towards the end, although i'm not sure if it counts as a "solo" or not)
BQ: Cannibal Corpse, Gorillaz, Poppy Seed Grinder, Dir en grey, AKB48, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Vivaldi. ...things get lost too easily on my 80GB iPod Classic.
BQ2: Green Isn't Your Color.
BQ3: Death Metal. Black Metal just takes the Satanic lyrics to a whole new level, and many bands try too hard. I mean, i listen to a little bit of it, but not too much. Plus, Death Metal always has Nile :3

I like Pete Sandoval's drum mic test from Morbid Angel. Even though I no longer care for death metal Pete used to be a big influence and is well respected by Mr. Grimm.
BQ - Metallica when they came back with Death Magnetic.
BQ 2 & 3 - Ey yo lets go get some bbq and git busy!

The intro to Ain't that a shame by cheap trick. Not exactly metal, but still a great solo.

Near the beginning.
