When you growing up. What do you feel if you see/hear that a sibling from you got a spanking?

Normally, in my family spankings were given in private. But they were no secret, because mom would tell my older sister, my younger brother or myself, "Go to your room and wait for me", which was the code word for an imminent spanking. I have to admit that I sometimes listened secretly in the corridor when my sister got spanked. I never felt much sympathy with her because she would have deserved many more spankings than she actually got, in my opinion. There was not much teasing afterward, but my sister tended to give me some unwelcome advice, such as "I could have told you.." or "How can one be so stupid...".
