As one of Jehovah's Witnesses I can assure you that we don't go from house to house looking for friendship - if we make new friends that's wonderful but our primary reason for being there is to share our bible message. If you have no interest in that message just say "I am not interested in hearing about the bible, please do not come to my house again" You need to say those EXACT words, frowning at a pamphet will not cut it with us..lol... sorry you need, as I said to be polite and honest

Alternatively you could just print out what you just wrote to us, and read it to her.

I heard this on the radio once tell them you re having a blood transfusion. That is not ment to be disrespectful to their religion.

The JWs feel very confident when dealing with Catholics because they have been trained to create doubts in Catholics' minds. If she keeps returning to your house every month, you may be sure that it is because she thinks she can wean you away from Catholicism and to start a home book study with you. If you fall for that, you will be exposing yourself to heretical views, but their literature is so carefully worded, you won't even spot it.

You do not want that kind of 'friendship' which is not friendship at all. You may have to start refusing to answer the door when she knocks. Really, that is the only signal some JWs are capable of spotting. At the moment, you are in great spiritual danger because the gospel message JWs preach is not about Christ having died for our sins - it's about a future paradise earth and never going to heaven - if you become a baptised JW, that is! If you know Jesus as your Saviour and your Lord, and that you are going to be with him in glory, the JW 'offer' is pathetic compared with what you know to be your inheritance in Christ. Please read Galatians chapter 1 and realise what is going on.

& feel free to ask her questions and compare scriptures with your own bible.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are not trying to convert the world by their preaching. Rather, when that work is done to Jehovah’s satisfaction, the end will come, as Jesus foretold.

I tkink the best way to find out what are her aims is just to ask her about it. Tell her that you're happy to be Catholic and don't want to change your confession, after that ask her if she wants to be your friend without any sermons

I really don't think it is possible for non-JWs to be friends with JWs; they will always try to convert the non-JW. Try to find some friends at your local Catholic church.
