High Hip corset problem?

Alright, I love wearing corsets, but my problem is my hip bones end about even to a little above my belly button. They are high compared to most people that I have met and talked to. This makes wearing corsets very difficult. I have only worn poly boned corsets, the problem is because I only have about an inch between the bottom of my ribs and the top of my hip bone, so the bone tends to bed in and cause severe cuts on my sides. My questions are does anyone else have this issue, and if so have you found a solution to it? Would steel bones help to stop this, or would they even work with my hips? I just would really like to be able to wear corsets, but the few I have kill me if I have worn them more then half an hour or so. Any help or suggestions?
