we had a huge argument that day about something else that got resolved and settled then we went out for a meal and we ended talking about exs etc and she started asking me about my ex gfs and who iv been with etc and i told the truth on all accounts.......
she started telling me about her ex bfs and stuff but there were some people she left out as i know them but she dosent know i know so why did she lie to me????

You agreed to talk willingly about such a negative topic so what did you expect ? Who cares about ex's and the past ? its over.
You should have said " Sorry but the past has gone and im only interested in NOW and the future ".
It opened up a can of worms so decide if this girl is worth dating ?

Never talk about past relationships. It's just not a healthy topic.
It's like the old joke where the girl says, "Of course you're the first man I ever had sex with! I don't know why you men always ask the same silly question."

*Exes are like yesterday's newspaper, old. It matters not how many or who a g/f or b/f had. They are called exes for a reason and should be left in the past. One has to be mature and self assured to handle exes. They usually not worthy of wasting one's time worrying about them!

Maybe she just wants to put the past behind her. Talking in too much depth about exes is rarely a good idea. If it's still bothering you, ask her about it.

Maybe some stories were just too much. She probably just didn't want to hurt you.
Its not called lying, she just wanted everything to not end up in a big argument or something.

She's probably embarrassed to have dated them. They probably treated her like crap so therefore she didn't want to bring up the past with them again ya know. I wouldn't worry about it, and technically she didn't lie to you. Just think about where's she's coming from and that there's probably more to it then you know and she doesn't want to talk about them.
