    Also followed the instructions for enabling cookies, emptying the cache etc in IE8.....it did not work [this is contrary to the 'Up or Not' sites...the odds are too this may be an aliasing issue]

    Yea, same here. I thought it was just me. At first I thought it was my browser so I went on Internet Explorer. Then it's the same message. Then as a last resort I go on flickr on my iPhone 4S....and it's the same thing, only it states that it has a network connection error. This is really the first time I encountered this after using the site for quite a few years. I hope they fix it soon :( Still have quite a lot of catching up to do.

    I think it is a glitch as yahoo have not had one in a while + I asked a question as I can't get on my yahoo mail as it comes up with 'bad request' and has the bit you said aswell than before this question I answered another user whoo has having problems with their flickr account also.

    So that's why I think it's a glitch, it should fix eventually but if not than contact the yahoo staff.

    I'm having the same problems and went searching on google for any answers, as soon as I typed in Flickr.com I get that message on all my browsers (Opera, Firefox and Internet Explorer.) So I'm glad that its not just me.

    Same problem here, (Arkansas). Since I was on Flickr within the last few hours, must be a resent glitch.
