So, does anyone have any excellent metal band recommendations?

Question

Preferrably, I would like some black metal or folk metal.  Clean production would also be nice.  This means audible instrumentation resulting in a listenable record, for those who didn't know.  

Another thing to keep in mind: I know the grand majority of popular bands in each subgenre.
