Compassion is the centre piece of all religions, how could followers become intolerant to others' faiths?

ALL the other religions and atheists live in peace and are ONLY attacked by BAD christians which causes all GOOD christians to despair at the damage they do!

Up until about 40 years back Christianity was thriving and there was no conflict with others but in just those few short years the modern christians have become intolerant, hate filled, bigoted and persecuting resulting in a growing backlash against christianity and causing christianity to loose over ten percent in less than a decade with the loss accelerating!

The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the only thing that can stop it is to abandon the terrible human emotions, seek to rediscover the idea of a loving god and act like it!

If quite the be conscious 'faith' could desire to be understood then there's no longer any intolerance. No faith is lesser in importance or better than the different. they're the rivulets of faiths to take to the enormous Ocean (source). there may well be turbulence on the way jointly as the particular rivulet flows down the source. yet each and each of a similar, all are same in the eyes of the source. people who profess their superiority are at sea with the training of their own faith. Because people are people and inherently in a fallen state naturally. Being 'good and compassionate' is a choice and doesn't come naturally.

Pray for God to give you compassion and discernment.

There are still polytheists(many gods), atheists (no god), antitheist(against god), as well as monotheists (one god). Christians, Islam, and Jews all believe in God (the God of Issac, Jacob, and Abraham), whereas god as a word may refer to god other than God).

Just don't other expect others to follow your understanding because you have rational arguments. Life is hard, life is that way.

compassion is one thing, though experience has *not* lead me to the conclusion that religion implies compassion. tolerance is something else. if you believe that your religion is the "one true religion" then, by definition, you cannot be tolerant of other religions. you would have no choice but to see conflicting ideologies as antagonistic...because (obviously) they would be antagonistic to your notion that your religion is the "one, true religion".

Because compassion is only something they say because it sounds good. It isn't something they really believe in and practice.
