Is it true that most prophets worked as Shepherds?

Now all the Politicians have taken over the role of Shepherds. There is no shortage of sheep-minded people.

I reckon a lot of people were shepherds. Not too many industries back then. Even today there are a lot of shepherds in the Middle East.

1) Is it true that most prophets worked as Shepherds?

Although in the Bible many prophets are said to have been shepherds, that claim is not made about most of the Biblical prophets (by a large margin - there are literally hundreds of prophets mentioned in the Bible, and the occupation of most of them is not mentioned).

Yes, ALL the prophets were shepherds at some time in their life.

Three Prophets fit that profile: Moses, Joshua, and David. They could be argued to have handled The Children of Israel like a "herd."

The most powerful other Prophets, Elijah and Elisha are depicted as having but ONE "follower" at a time. If "Ascended Master" Prophet Elijah had this "HERD OF FOLLOWERS," why did he have to flee Jezebel's wrath after singlehandedly taking down the 400 Priests of Baal?

Why didn't his "herd" fight for him?

When he despairingly pleaded with God to terminate his time on Earth, because he was all alone, Yahweh revealed to him that there were still 7,000 who hadn't bowed to Satan- WHOM HE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT.

The Sons of The Prophets knew to the day when he was going to ascend- but were obviously not his "herd." They tried to inform Elisha- but he too, knew without Elijah telling him.

Elisha could have used a "herd" when that famine hit- but could only hang out in one lady's house.

When Something told him Jesus DIDN'T die on the Cross, why should he have argued, when he had a method that was simple and straightforward?
