Has anyone else noticed about Melbourne?

Melbourne only lost 3 players to SOO what are they complaining about Manly lost 4 players but have not lost 5 games on the trot, Bronco's lost 4 or 5 to SOO, NQ lost 3. But SOO is definatly a bonus time of season for those clubs who lose NO players or 1 player to SOO duties. SOO was definatly a drain on clubs like Storm , Bronco's, Manly , and NQ and to a lesser extent the Sharks wow Gallen has not played since SOO has he ? a lot depends on the clubs depth to cover for these SOO players, but how do you replace a Slater, Cronk, Stewart Bros, T-Rex Carney and Gallon and Thurston with guys from Toyota cup yeah sure. If i were an NRL coach I would be hoping that NONE of my KEY PLAYERS were picked to represent NSW or QLD. But I don't know if a stand alone weekend for SOO is the way to go. Another Q if players can share playing duties between SOO and their clubs, why can't the coaches ?? The players have a much more important role do they not? than the "coach", who is surrounded by "assistants " (ex players) and support staff of every shape and form.

They did try it a few years back and everyone complained because there was no other footy on. As well, the tv broadcasters have paid for so many games a weekend. Leave it as it is.

allow more teams to bye during the origin so they can't have excuses.
