Help with my infected ear lobe piercings?
So I pierced my ears about 8 weeks ago and everything went well throughout the 6 week period, but after I came back from camp, I noticed that my ear lobes were swollen, red, itching, and peeling. It doesn't really hurt anymore, but its still really swollen, red, itchy, and peeling. I think the peeling is from being sunburned, but I'm not really sure. Also there's this rough patch behind both ears that I think is also peeling, like a sunburn but I can't see it so I'm not sure about that either. Plus, sometimes, this yellow liquid comes out of my piercings. I use the claire's cleaning solution a few times a day and once have tried alcohol, which burned very badly so I stopped. How can I make it get better without having my piercings close?

Before you go to bed tonight wash you ears throughly with soap & water. Dry & then apply some first aid cream all over your holes, inside, backside & front side. Put a large bandage or a gauze square over the front & back of your lobes, the bandage will keep the first aid cream from wiping off your lobes & onto your pillow. Do this for four nights to try & clear it up. If you don't see improvement at the end of the fourth night, (that would be Thursday morning) then you will need to call the Doctor.
