So, does this mean Rock isn't going to appear in the WWE again until the Royal Rumble?

They said the winner gets The Rock at the Royal Rumble. So is he just going to leave again and not come back again until then? I mean, if he loves the fans so much, why can't he stay and wrestle every week and earn his spot like the other guys in the back?

Update:

Oh I get it, so he's too good for anyone else since he "earned his spot" back in the day?

Update 2:

Did I say they were going to hype the match up every week? No. I asked if he was going to come back full time.

Maybe you should learn to read

Update 3:

What did The Rock say?

"I'm returning and i'm never leaving" That is basically what he said last year and, because he has a movie career, he can just do whatever he wants? Thats a slap in the face to every single wrestler who busts their @sses every night on RAW currently.

And, you know what. I don't like Cena as a wrestler but at least he is there every night. I respect him. I respect The Rock for what he's done but he can't just say he is never leaving and then constantly leave ever time because of his precious little movie career. Either pick on or the other

I completely agree with you. I like long storylines when they have a good build-up and are able to give us good segments throughout the feud, but when it comes to The Rock, we're going to have another boring storyline like he did with John Cena - where he will only communicate through "via satellite" and will only appear until the Royal Rumble. I think if he's not willing to at least stay as a part time wrestler and be a normal superstar, then he should just not get title matches out of no where when other younger superstars can take that spot.

Exactly what I'm saying. Everyone just loves the Rock, and thinks he actually cares about his fans... Not anymore. Now that he's Mr. Hollywood, he comes back to WWE because he can't get a real movie role besides starring in Disney movies. I hate how just because he's the Rock, he automatically gets what he wants, when there's tons of more talented wrestlers that deserve the spotlight.

He might appear in the weeks leading up to Royal Rumble, to hype the match.

The Rock need to put over CM Punk at the RR and not bury him like he did Cena.

He earned his spot permanently from what he contributed from the 90's till early 2000's.

Yes, He's too good for any superstar that is still wrestling (with the exception of HHH and Undertaker).

Because he has another job, I'm not sure what is so hard for some of you clowns to understand about that. And, you want him to be there every night for a match that 5+ months away? moron.
