State Farm Full coverage Auto Insurance?
Ive been with mu current insurance company for about 5 years now. My policy will be ending soon. I have a good driving record except for one speeding ticket back in 2009. Im proud to say I've never had an accident. Ive been thinking about upgrading and getting insuance thru State Farm. I have homeowners thru them as well so it makes sense. My question or problem is this my car is down and will be for at least the next week my transmission went out. I dont want to leave my car on the street uninsured though. I remember though if you wanted full coverage you had to take the car in so they could confirm no damage has been done to the vehicle. Can the insurance agent come to my home and take the pictures or do they not even bother anymore? Otherwise I will have to tow it there.

It's always a good idea to get the best insurance possible. Before buying ANY car or home insurance you need to GOOGLE 'Ratings of insurance companies" and check all the lists.
You will see that many of the insurance companies with names everyone knows are actually the LOWEST rated when it comes to paying out their clients who place claims.
I'd do some serious research before your policies are up.
The company mentioned is at the bottom of almost every list.
I have never had to take a car anywhere for an insurance company to look at before buying insurance. My experience is they usually send an agent to your home to photograph your car and also to check where (location, part of town, etc) it will be kept.
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you leave an uninsured car (working or not) parked on 'the street'.If something happens to it and you're not covered you'll have to eat the whole expense. If the car is not running the insurance company will NOT insure it till it is in running condition.
Since it can't be driven they won't insure it. The only thing that could happen to it parked and broken down at the curb is something bad. I'm pretty sure you would have to prove that it is drivable before they will write you a policy. Good luck

What's up? My friends call me Demmy, a regular college guy living in kanoton US
Growing up, I was teased all throughout high-school. You know, I was a boy that owns no vehicle that everyone liked to
make fun of as all of my friends were having long Zen. On my 18th birthday my father blessed me with a new Audi 6 and I
got surprized as I never expected that. 2 weeks later I met with an accident and the insurance firm refused claim.
Without wasting the time I switched to different campny with good goodwill and so far everything is awesome and got 100% claim 2 times with small accidents.

They might just ask you to take pictures and send it to them.
I've added cars on my policy and I've never actually taken my cars to the insurance place.
unless of course, the insurance person doesn't really know you. then yes he might want to see the car or see a picture of the car.
