Firstly, pagans are also people of religion. They just believe in more gods.

Secondly, there are more religious people even pretty much every where, at all, than there are atheist or pagans. Atheism is comparatively extremely statistically rare. Its no surprise there are more religious people, even anywhere, than their are atheists. Most people don't like atheists, they have to be a certain sort of arrogant person to even be willing to publicly even admit to being one. Being a known atheist is about as socially desirable as being a known crack addict. ( However, at least sometimes, crack addicts don't not even like even each other, as much. Atheist usually hate pretty much, everyone.) So, they aren't all as common as they may appear to be on sites like this one where they go to deliberately be intrusive and offensive toward people of religious interests like the terrible people atheists usually are.

Jim Jones, the religious cult leader, the man responsible for the mass suicide and murders of over 900 people, including the murder of over 200 innocent children is quoted on a documented FBI tape as saying, himself, that he "took the church and used the church to bring people to atheism". He was in fact, an atheist, documented by his own words, on an FBI documented tape recording.

Atheist insanity is plenty prevalent, and is usually a far worse than some poor ill religious guy who thinks he has to wear tin foil on his head to stop the space aliens from reading his thoughts. Atheists, are often enough, a far greater danger to society.

Instead of saying religious people are crazy, I'll go with a more logical approach and say it's because there are fewer atheists.

You're asking why there aren't many theists INSIDE pagans and atheists? Like in "Alien," where they burst right through your stomach?

religion is an addiction. sick minds tend to be addicted to things like booze, drugs, cigarettes and religion more than healthy minds
