Question about becomig a pediatrician.... ?

Ok so im about to start my senior year so im thinking about possible careers.
I like the idea of working with kids and teens so i thought about becoming a pediatrician.
I dont mind the hard work cuz after all the schooling im gonna be doing something i like and it will pay off.
My question is: If i start pre med (which is the first 4 years in college right??? correct me if im wrong...) and then decide i dont want to continue studying to become a pediatrician, what other career options do i have with pre med education ?

Pre med isn't a major itself.  It is classes that you need for medical school that you take along with your major.  So, you can major in something that you would like to do in case you don't get into medical school.
