Islam is a religion, so Obama can't be "an islam." No one can.

He attended Christian church in Chicago for many years, and was a self-described atheist for years before that. His white mother was apparently an atheist. His black father, who was born in Kenya, was a Muslim, but his mother and his father split up soon after Obama was born -- in Hawaiii, by the way. Not in Kenya.

So there's no evidence that Barack Hussein Obama is Muslim, although his given name is. It's kind of like meeting a white guy named "Christian," like say, the actor Christian Slater, and discovering that the white guy is a non-believer.
