What color to paint my bathroom?

Question

I have a pretty small bathroom. Its long and narrow with no window and right now its color is eggshell.. Attached is a walk in closet. The counters are white with dark brown cabinets and a neutral tile on the floor. I have decorated it with brown and teal, what do you think which color would work best for the walls? I really wanted it to be like a chocolate brown but i think it would make thenroom feel even smaller. Any ideas that world work with teal and brown?

If chocolate brown is your instinct, I would go for that. There are other ways to add the illusion of space to a room- especially if the illusion is only needed to go across one set of walls( you said the space is long and narrow...) To add a feel of width, place mirrors on the two walls that are closest to each other. To soften the feel of a closet door, replace it with curtains- i like lace or sheers for this. Finally, to give a general feel of more space, define the different areas of the bathroom with area rugs- in front of the sink, around the toilet, where you get in and out of the tub, and in front of the closet, if there's space.

I think chocolate brown will look great with teal and brown too , my bathroom is a dark brown too (like burnt sienna ) and it looks nice ! :)
