ipod touch texting question?
So I gave my boyfriend an ipod touch, and he's having trouble with the texting... he can text my phone just fine, but when I try to text his ipod with my phone it wont send him the message.. The only way he can get my messages is if I reply to a message he sent me.
why does it do that?

iPods are for music, not for texting or calling. That's what phones are for!

The messages app on an iPod touch only works if 2 iPod touches are texting each other or an iPhone and an iPod touch are texting eachother. It won't work if an ordinary cell phone tries to text an iPod touch, or vice versa.
