Is there a way to see original images of records in new.familysearch? see detail?

Question

I'm looking at some of my ancestors in new.familysearch and someone has combined at least two people together in one record. I want to see the originals to unravel the mess. I know I can search the regular familysearch site for the names, but I was wondering if I can access the original images straight from the new?

Adding to what Chippah has said.............. check the number of the 'record' and it will tell you if it is a 'collection'  or 'CD' which is NOT a record, it is just collected unverified data with no searchable source, old IGI, sent in information  so that may help and save you looking for an image that doesn't exist........... use the information from it only as a clue about where to look for a real record...... so if it is collected /CD /IGI /data and says a town or church and a date....you will need to look for the parish records for that date in that church/town and as Chippah says LDS centres you can order fiche of the images of the church/parish records..........

They have some original images.  They are adding to the website constantly.  I know I can view and print off copies of original Texas death certificates  through 1976  on their new website.

You can go to your nearest Family History Center, and they may have the original image on microfilm. If they don't have it on hand, they can order it from the main Family History Library in Salt Lake City.
