DERIVITIVES...is this the true reason wh the greek debt happend.!?
Please listen very carefully to the U TUBE..LINK.....as i belive the main cause of our debt is from those derivitives..... i would like to hear every ones elses opinion on this derivitive issue..

The derivatives were the mechanism of the recent bankruptcy, but not the underlying cause. It was the desire of a government to satisfy the demands of a public that wanted more than they could afford that caused Greece's bankruptcy. To make it happen they took advantage of financial instruments which they did not understand and got in deeper instead of getting better.
