Should I take my samsung galaxy s2 out of charge?

I bought my new Samsung Galaxy S2 today & I was told to leave it on charge for 6 hours but in the 3rd hour it rang and says the battery is 100%. Should I take it out or leave it for 6 hours or even longer

The first time you charge a phone you are normally told to leave it for longer, even if it says that it's fully charged. In most cases, they tell you to leave it overnight, so I would definitely leave it for 6 hours.

If it's the charger that came with it then it will stop charging it when it's fully charged but you can leave it on if you want it to stay charged. If you bought the charger somewhere else and it's not made specifically for the phone but it works then you don't want to leave it on more then necessary or you could overchargd the battery and ruin it.
