I don't believe in eternal matter just like I don't believe in a God who is justified by using special pleading (everything needs a cause-but God does not!)

Technically no, since no one has proven any matter to be eternal. Genesis is not the truth, it's just an old story.

No, I do not. I suspect that universes wink into and out of existence in a chaotic sequence.

Our personal existence is so brief that the latest wink seems to be taking a long time.

Eternal matter exists, according to physical law. What, do you think gravity came from nothing or will not exist?

Eternal matter? No. Nothing lasts forever. Especially your stale old storybook.

And what genesis 1.1 has to do with «eternal matter»?.

Behold, he was spoken of by Moses; yea, and behold a type was raised up in the wilderness, that whosoever would look upon it might live. And many did look and live.
