Given that a significant portion of US citizens are YEC and the majority of the rest range from old earth creationists to IDiots or theistic evolutionists (and yes, in this case "evolutionist" is appropriate), I think you question is mute/meaningless.

In reality, the best thing that we can do is to push for better, more comprehensive science and mathematics education. It may not change people's believes, but it will help give them a better basis from which to make decisions.

Most ''fundies'' on here are probably trolls and no amount of good reasoning will change a real fundie's (evolution-denier's) mind. They're not posting this to get new insight on how other people think, they want their own ideas reconfirmed. So...Always assume it's a troll. Unless it's an honest question asking for information.

The jokers tend to have a weird quirk in their text which makes them 'more believable but less believable'.

With the real ones (unless the troll is extremely talented and it is a joke), there will be a lot less words that actually stress the importance of what they say and more facts present.

Best thing to do is treat them all seriously and fight the urge to behave like a "troll" yourself.

The only way to fight ignorance is to use intelligent discussion, entertain all viewpoints, and "stick to your guns".

When we start behaving like children then the "trolls" win.
